Daily Itinerary for Thimphu Festival Tour (7 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. After checking into your hotel, spend the evening at your leisure, exploring Thimphu town or relaxing at the hotel.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
Start your day with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma, a massive Buddha statue with panoramic views of the valley. Proceed to Tashichho Dzong, a grand fortress and monastery that houses the King’s throne room and administrative offices. Next, visit the National Memorial Chorten to observe locals in spiritual practice. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum for insights into traditional Bhutanese life and browse traditional crafts at the Handicrafts Emporium.

Day 3: Thimphu Tshechu (Festival Day)
